About us

Allaboutschoolfees.com ® is run by two families, who have six children between them. Jane and Ronnie manage the site on a day to day basis whilst the husbands manage the Allabout Modeller ™ and Allabout Library ™. Between the four of us we have two Chartered Accountants and a Chartered Surveyor. One used to teach financial forecasting, one specialised in managing personal savings accounts, one is a recognised financial risk advisor and we are all now experienced database and website managers!

Why are we doing this?

We started this site because we couldn't find the information we wanted to help us research how much it will cost us to educate our children outside the state sector. We genuinely believe this site will be of real use to other parents, and we hope it will make us some money to help pay our children’s school fees!

How do we make money?

Most importantly we aren't trying to sell you anything like insurance, schools guides, tax advice or savings plans, and we're not trying to pass you off to financial advisors! We aren't charging anyone for access to what we believe is the best researched and most authoritative source of information on UK private education in the market, The Allabout Library ™. We've copyrighted it because it took us a long time to put together, but you can read it and learn from it for nothing. We make some of our money by charging schools a small fee in return for us giving our registered users access to a summary of the school, its contact details and its website (if they have one). We make the rest of our money by charging parents or financial advisors for the right to use the Allabout Modeller ™. We won't talk more about it now, take a look at the section below for more information, but the Allabout Modeller ™ is at the heart of our site and we very much hope you'll feel it worth buying!

Our future plans

We've been approached by many companies wanting to partner with us. These are mostly financial advisors and banks that we've always said “no” to because we want you to enjoy our site, and not feel as if we're trying to sell you something or pass you on to someone who wants to sell you something. If we receive enough requests from you, our customers, to offer up an integrated service to allow you to save directly into products through our site, then we might do so. But for now we've no plans to do anything other than improve our site wherever we can, improve the Allabout Library ™, and to make sure the Allabout Modeller ™ is as up to date and useful as it can possibly be.
